Lynn Kolaja Fire Equipment Sales was founded in 1978. Mr. Kolaja, a veteran firefighter, started as the owner and sole employee.
The company has gown steadily in its thirty nine years of operation. Specializing in ambulances, supplies and fire equipment, Kolaja Fire Equipment has been an exclusive distributor for Horton Emergency Vehicles since 1982.
The company's growth permitted a move to a new 7,500 sq. ft. expanded sales & service facility in 1988. The company became incorporated in 1989 and currently has six full-time and two part-time employees.
Located just south of Union City in Northwestern Pennsylvania, Kolaja Fire Equipment serves Western Pennsylvania and Western New York.
